We Exist to Help Businesses & Society to Move Forward
Nirius Consulting was created to support entrepreneurs and business owners. We provide them with the best advice, help and services possible to move them forward.
Nirius Consulting was created when our founder, Lee Heycock, left Ernst & Young in London to focus exclusively on the small business sector. He did this because his experience of the very best and very worst of the business world, gained while working at global advisory firms Arthur Andersen and E&Y, convinced him that, in order for society to thrive, owner-managed businesses had to be able to succeed.
A big part of this was driven by his passion for social mobility - the idea that anyone in society can rise from the very bottom to the very top. He saw very real and deliberate barriers to this that remain in place to this day.
We believe that entrepreneurship is possibly the only tangible way that social mobility can be a reality for many, if not the majority of people in the UK and elsewhere. That's why we are so passionate about helping entrepreneurs and small businesses succeed.

Today Nirius Consulting is a privately owned, small but growing practice that provides private, discreet advice, training and services to small businesses. We pride ourselves on the quality and value that we deliver. We don't aspire to be the biggest, but we always strive to be the best.
We consider our services to be of a higher quality than would be expected from the largest and most prestigious firms in the world. We're in a good position to judge this because we used to work for them!
Our passion and commitment to helping our clients to succeed is unrivalled.
We are also a member firm of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW). However, unlike most ICAEW member firms, we focus almost exclusively on advisory and growth-focused work, because this is where we add the most value.
We help businesses to grow, to improve and to out-compete their rivals. We do this by using our expertise in competitive strategies, marketing and technology, and applying this to coach and help small businesses.
We only get involved in accounting work when we help our clients trouble-shoot or understand things. Even though we are qualified to do the work, we let other accountancy firms get on with the "bread and butter" tasks like annual accounts and tax returns.
